PAE is an energy agency created in June 2006 with financial support of European Commission through the "Intelligent Energy - Europe" programme. The organisation was created by the regional authorities of Podkarpackie Province, as well as by other public bodies (city of Rzeszów, Solina municipality, Rzeszów Regional Agency of Development) and private ones. Our aim is to promote renewable energy sources (RES), energy efficiency, sustainable transport and knowledge on climate changes issues. We try to prepare better conditions for RES investments in the region and to assist public and private bodies as well as citizens on energy efficiency and RES issues. We also educate and try help development of researches in the fields of our interests. For this purpose we co-operate with Technical University of Rzeszów, University of Rzeszów, Higher Engineering - Economic School in Ropczyce, National Higher Professional School in Jarosław and other research institutions in the region. We have also links with other R&D institutions and other actors in field of energy in Poland and entire Europe.

We run many projects part-financed from different sources.
